In May 2008 HK Ocean was awarded a transportation contract by Mundra Port & Special Economic Zone Ltd, India.  This project is to transport a 3000m³ cutter suction dredger by a dock type semi-submersible vessel, from Shanghai to Mundra, India.  The voyage is expected to commence on beginning of June and takes 22 days transit time for the 5200 n.m. distance.
